Michael Caine habla sobre Batman 3

MTV conversó con el actor Michael Caine, y cuándo le preguntaron sobre el futuro de Batman, reveló lo siguiente:

“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make [a sequel to The Dark Knight]?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘Shit, they’ve done it again!’” [Laughs]

"Estaba con los ejecutivos de Warner Bros y les digo, ¿'Van a hacer la secuela de Dark Knight?'. Y ellos me contestaron que sí. Y les digo ' ¿Cómo demonios vamos a superar a Heath?' Y ellos dicen ' Te digo como pueden superar a Heath - Johnny Depp como El Acertijo y Philip Seymour Hoffman como El Pingüino'. Les digo '****, ellos lo volvieron hacer!" [Risas]

Mientras que los productores afirman que:

“(Producers) are convinced that the role of the Riddler is perfect for Depp. Johnny’s a pro. He’ll be able to take direction from director Chris Nolan and still make the character his own. And what better Penguin is there than Philip Seymour Hoffman.”

Recuerden, que hace unos días Johnny Depp negó el rumor, y declaró que nunca le habían ofrecido el personaje pero que sería divertido. Sólo son rumores hasta el momento, esperemos que se vuelvan realidad...
